Military Update
Over 7,400 missiles have been fired at Israel since October 7, of which. 1,100 of these rockets were intercepted by Iron Dome, 550 misfired and fell inside Gaza, and more than 400 directly hit Israel. Others fell in open areas.
Ground op getting nearer
Among dozens of Hamas members said killed in overnight airstrikes in Gaza was the deputy commander of Hamas’s rocket array, who is in charge of rocket fire on Israel, the IDF said. On Saturday evening, a member of Hamas’s Nukhba commando forces was captured by Israeli forces while attempting to return to the Gaza Strip after two weeks spent hiding in Israel.

Hostage Situation
To date, 212 families have been notified by the IDF that their loved ones are being held hostage in Gaza.
On Friday, two captives were released by Hamas: Israeli-American Judith Raanan (59) and her daughter Natalie (17). They were kidnapped from Kibbutz Nahal Oz. Hamas claimed that the release was made on humanitarian grounds, however, there’s no information currently available that shines light on the transfer mechanism or why those particular hostages were chosen by the terrorist organization. The release was facilitated through negotiations led by Qatar. Neither woman said anything about how they were treated during their time in captivity.
Over 200 hostages remain in Gaza, with no information on their health or wellbeing.
Israeli Security Service Shin Bet formed a new division, NILI, to track down all those responsible for the Oct 7 massacre. Earlier today they reported that they have identified every perpetrator.

Orthodox and ultra-orthodox Jews enlisting & helping the army, totaling over 2000 ppl. They will be taking up medical and logistical jobs.
Michal Elon, Israeli nurse at a children’s oncology clinic and mother of 10, saved many lives on October 7, including her own. She and her family came to Zikim military training base to celebrate with the soldiers. When the alarms sounded, they hid in the bunker, where injured soldiers started arriving soon. Michal and her family hurried to help. But when she stepped outside to help another soldier, she was shot by a Hamas terrorist dressed in IDF uniform. She managed to get away, bandaged her own wound, and, unable to provide first aid, directed her family’s efforts to save the life of a soldier named Sean. She is currently in a hospital on her way to recovery. Her story wasn’t in any big outlets, but was shared with us by her friends.
